A big thanks to all those who are making arrangements or are already raising money (eg I think "Tony" is responsible for photographs he puts near the porch for people to have for a small donation), or have made donations for the new organ/synthesizer. We hope to hear how far we are progressing towards our target at the next Pastoral Council meeting in September (7.30 pm Wednesday 8th at St Hugh's parish hall).

Sunday 23rd May Whitsunday  Pentecost  Whitfunday!

On a gloriously sunny afternoon hundreds of adults and children, mostly from the various Christian Churches of the area attended the entertainments held at the fields of Somervale school. There were many highlights, too many to mention but a few included the Christian Entertainer Jon Bonner, Quad bikes,a display of motor bikes (Christian Bikers Association), swing boats, minature steam train and rides, archery, morris displays, Paulton Band, bouncy slide, spiritual healing and much more; including of course free tea, sandwiches and cake. A squad from Holy Ghost helped out at the free soft drinks stall and must have passed out around 2,500 or more cups of water or squash. For more information see www.whitfunday.org.uk
